COURSE DESCRIPTION
This is a two-year program that provides students with competencies on supervision, scheduling, inventory control, selection, and maintenance of fabrics, furniture and floor coverings and supervising operations of a laundry plant.
Expected skills and competencies
At the end of the training; the students will acquire the necessary competence (skills and know-how) that will enable them to plan and schedule housekeeping duties, organize the housekeeping department, supervise housekeeping duties such as laundry operations, health and safety, cleaning, and inventory control whilst adhering to the standard operating procedures to ensure guest satisfaction by delivering high standards of service.
Career path
Upon successfully completion of the course, students can work as floor supervisors, housekeeping desk coordinator, public area supervisor, linen and uniform supervisor or laundry supervisor.
