2022 Kenya Utalii College Refresher Courses

Refresher Courses are training programs developed by the College for employees in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry in an endeavor to handle challenges and opportunities manifest in the dynamic Industry. They are geared towards ensuring high operational standards, excellent service delivery, employee motivation thereby improving performance, creation of job satisfaction and enabling the establishments to meet targets through enhanced employee productivity.

These annual courses are designed to meet the needs of employees of Small, Medium and Large Scale Hotels as well as Tour and Travel Companies. They are designed to benefit those who have a minimum of two years industry experience and specific qualifications are appended for each course program. The participants are expected to be thorough in both spoken and written English. They are nominated by their respective establishments before making their applications to Kenya Utalii College.

To formulate relevant and commensurate courses, the College conducts close consultation with the Tourism Industry/Kenya Utalii College Liaison Committee to asses Training Needs. These courses are free of charge to employees of training levy-paying establishments across the Nation but with minimal fee for other interested none levy-paying institutions.

The 2022 Courses have started off with the Nakuru/CentralRift/Mara Which will progressively move to Nairobi region, and finally move to North Coast, Mombasa region.

Within this year’s program, the College targets to train over One Thousand (1000) employees in different courses of their respective orientation, country-wide. The various courses within the program this year are listed below;
