Gastronomy Tourism has become a vital component of the tourism experience

Kenya Utalii College Students are planning to host the third edition of the Gastronomy Festival on Friday, 22 nd November, 2024 at the main campus. The festival seeks to promote the traditional foods and cuisines in Kenya. As well as, bring people together from diverse cultural backgrounds, with an aim of encouraging and promoting local culinary tourism.
The Gastronomy festival is a project which is conceptualized, organized and executed by students with their lecturers as consultants. The event gives them an opportunity to display and showcase their talents, skills, professionalism prowess in the whole range of hospitality, entertainment and culinary artistry to Government, hospitality and tourism industry stakeholders, diplomatic corps, family, friends and general public.
The festival themed “The Grand Savor: Ladha ya Kenya” will provide exhibition space for sponsors to showcase their products and services culminating in a Gala Dinner. The event promises to be an unforgettable culinary experience. You will get to savor the flavors of Kenya as you indulge in a delectable dinner prepared by the talented students of Kenya Utalii College. The night will be filled with entertainment, featuring live performances and a fashion show, making it an evening of elegance and glamour.
